God creates heaven, earth, humanity, and everything that exists. Adam and Eve disobey God, bringing sin and death into the world. Humanity becomes increasingly corrupt, leading to Noah’s flood. Afterward, people rebel again at the Tower of Babel, and God scatters the nations.

God chooses Abraham and promises to create a nation through him, bless his descendants, and ultimately bless the entire world through his family. Abraham’s descendants become Israel. They are enslaved in Egypt, but God rescues them through Moses. God gives Israel His commandments and leads them toward the Promised Land.

Israel enters the Promised Land but repeatedly turns away from God. God gives them judges and later kings. David becomes Israel’s greatest king, and God promises that a future eternal King will come through David’s family. Israel eventually divides into two kingdoms, falls into idolatry, and is conquered. The prophets warn the people, call them to repentance, and promise a coming Messiah, a new covenant, and restoration.

Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah and the Word who was with God and was God, enters the world as a man. He teaches about God’s Kingdom, heals the sick, forgives sins, confronts evil, and reveals the Father. Jesus dies on the cross for humanity’s sins and rises from the dead, defeating sin and death.

Jesus ascends into heaven and sends the Holy Spirit. His followers spread the gospel throughout the nations, forming the Church. The New Testament letters teach believers how to live faithfully while awaiting Christ’s return. Revelation describes Jesus defeating evil, judging the world, raising the dead, and creating a new heaven and new earth where God lives with His people forever.

God completes His plan by defeating evil and restoring creation through Jesus.
